Voices in the Family , a radio program on WHYY, hosted a discussion of how civil rights history is (or isn’t) taught in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This program, available by podcast, could inform the Continuing Conversations on Race discussion on Monday, February 2, at 7 pm at the Princeton Public Library, which will have a similar focus — looking at perceptions of Black History Month.  The program highlighted the New Conversation on Race and Ethnicity group in Philadelphia and a student-led group, Intercultural Youth Council. If you can’t listen to the hour-long program,  start at minute 30.
