3 and victorAt the Unity Awards Reception on May 17, a nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize spoke and three Princeton students were honored for being role models in their efforts to promote respect for diversity and to advance the cause of race relations.

Victor Ochen (second from left) is the founder of the African Youth Initiative. The honorees, from left, were Tatianna Sims (a senior at Princeton High School) and two eighth graders from John Witherspoon Middle School — Harvi Shergill and Kimberly Rojas. The event was at Princeton University’s Carl A. Fields Center for Equality & Cultural Understanding.
