Local historian Dr. Jack Washington will discuss the involvement of the Black Community in Trenton during the Revolutionary War, the period preceding the start of the history in his book In Search of a Community’s Past: The Black Community in Trenton (1860-1900).  The talk will take place at the Trenton Free Public Library, 120 Academy Street, Trenton, NJ, 08608, from 2-4 p.m. during the city’s Patriots Week celebrations.
