Not In Our Town is bringing Dr. Howard Stevenson to the Princeton Public Library on Monday, February 6 at 7 pm.

Dr. Stevenson is the Constance Clayton Professor of Urban Education and Professor of Africana Studies in the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania.  He is also Executive Director of the Racial Empowerment Collaborative (REC), a research, program development, and training center that brings together community leaders, researchers, authority figures, families, and youth to study and promote racial literacy and health in schools and neighborhoods.

Not In Our Town’s monthly Continuing Conversations on Race & White Privilege will be led by Professor Stevenson. He will also be signing copies of Promoting Racial Literacy in School, which will be available for purchase (at the discounted price of $20).
