The Plainsboro Library will be celebrating the 2018 Year of the Dog on Saturday, February 10th and Sunday, February 11th, 12:00-3:30 PM! Visitors of all cultures are welcome to join in this joyous festival.

On Saturday, February 10th, we will have an art reception for artist Mimi Yang in the library Art Gallery, a dragon dance starting in the library plaza and winding its way through the library, and Chinese music and dance performances in the 1st floor Community Room. Tickets for the performances (2:00-3:30 PM) can be picked up at the cafe area for free starting at 12:30 PM. One ticket per person in line. Seating is limited!

On Sunday, February 11th, there will be Chinese brush painting and calligraphy demonstrations in the 1st floor Cafe area, games with giveaways hosted by 1st Constitution Bank and Indus American Bank on the 1st floor, as well as Chinese knotting, crafts, calligraphy instruction and lantern riddles with prizes in the Community Room.

Red envelopes and “lucky” oranges will be passed out to patrons on their way out.
