On April 4th, the 50th anniversary of Dr. King’s assassination in Memphis will be recognized across the nation and world as one of the seminal moments of the 20th century.

We invite members of our community to consider spending some time listening to some of the oral histories from the Civil Rights Era which Rhodes College (in Memphis, TN) has curated for the general public:

Most Americans’ knowledge of this critical chapter in our nation’s history is woefully limited; please consider taking some time to deepen your knowledge and understanding.
