Friday, August 31, at 7:00 pm, Friday Night Movie at Pennington United Methodist Church, 60 S Main St, Pennington, NJ, will be showing “Black Power Mixtape-1967-1975,” a Swedish television documentary on the Black Power Movement in America. A refreshing outside perspective on the topic, free of the U.S. media bias against the Black Panthers at that time, this film is loaded with interviews with seminal figures of the Black Power Movement. Admission is free, as well as popcorn and drinks.
