With his essay, “This is what an antiracist America would look like. How do we get there?,” Ibram X. Kendi, author of Stamped from the Beginning 2016 National Book Award winner for nonfiction and Founding Director of the Antiracist Research and Policy Center at American University, inaugurates a collaboration between the Center and the Guardian newspaper, “an ongoing series that sheds light on the structures at the root of racial inequities. Here is why I didn’t become a statistic” byWhat led Chicago to shutter dozens of majority-black schools? Racism” by Eve Ewing.
