Author and playwright Calvin Ramsey will discuss the creation and history of The Negro Motorist Green Book, the travel guide for African Americans during the Jim Crow era. The lecture will be at the Arts Council of Princeton, 102 Witherspoon St, Princeton, on September 18 at 7:30 pm, doors opening at 7 pm. Cost of admission is $35 with an added $15 for those wanting to purchase an autographed copy of Ramsey’s children’s book Ruth and the Green Book. Children 12 and younger are admitted free of charge.
