The Princeton Civil Rights Commission, in collaboration with the Office of the Attorney General of New Jersey, the Mayor of Princeton, and the Human Services Department, is pleased to offer a primer on civil rights law in New Jersey free of charge.
New Jersey’s civil rights laws are among the oldest and strongest in the nation. In this 1.5 hour training, Ms. Leonardo-Santiago, a specialist with the NJ Division on Civil Rights, will review the fundamentals of the laws. Among other topics, you will learn the basics of state law protections and remedies.
This is a train-the-trainer event. Stakeholders and other authorities will come away ready to educate their own employees and members on the rights of individuals and how to comply with the law.
