On February 25, 2020 at 8:30 pm ET, join a free, hour-long, online conversation with the EmbraceRace community and with Aisha White, Director of The Positive Racial Identity Development in Early Childhood program at the University of Pittsburgh. (P.R.I.D.E. works with parents, educators, and children to foster positive racial identity in Black children, aged 3 to 8.) White will talk about what “positive racial identity” means, discuss the challenges to healthy racial development faced by Black children, and hear some practical, research-based ideas for how adults who love young Black children can support them on their paths to healthy growth and development.
