Protest to Policy: Decriminalizing, Decarcerating, and Dismantling the Powers.
Salvation and Social Justice is working with our communities to 1. Decriminalize and eliminate discriminatory cannabis policies, 2. Decarcerate the most vulnerable during this pandemic, and 3. Dismantle police brutality. These are ongoing initiatives and we need you to join us in faith and action as we move from protest to policy. Protests are the necessary spirit of awakening that creates an environment in which policymakers must respond.
On Thursday, June 18th, at 6 pm, as we march into Juneteenth 2020, SandSJ invites you into dialogue and action around dismantling police brutality in New Jersey. This is the first of many community town halls that will focus on one of the aforementioned initiatives.
