Police and Black leaders to talk about how to make Black lives matter at today’s special live webcast. NJ.com is hosting a panel moderated by reporter Tennyson Donyéa and introduced by Attorney General Gurbir Grewal.  The Live forum will be held at Facebook.com/NJ.com

  • Senator Linda Greenstein is chairwoman of the Senate Law and Public Safety Committee;
  • Ryan Haygood is a civil rights lawyer and CEO of New Jersey Institute for Social Justice;
  • Jessica Henry is an author, legal commentator, social justice advocate and associate professor at Montclair State University
  • Jiles Ship is the president of the NOBLE New Jersey and past president of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE). He’s also a commissioner for the New Jersey Police Training Commission
  • Quovella Spruill is the director of public safety for Franklin Township and the former chief of detectives from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
  • Zellie Thomas is a Paterson teacher and Black Lives Matter activist”
