Continuing Conversation on Race and White Privilege: Racial Literacy and Justice, June 7, 2021

PHS Racial Literacy & Justice Class, 2019

Our June Continuing Conversation (on Monday, June 7, 7 pm) is an opportunity to hear students from Princeton High School’s spring semester Racial Literacy & Justice class.  Click here to register.

What is racial literacy?  What is racial justice? Racial literacy is an open acknowledgement that literacy is multi-faceted and requires a lifelong commitment to growth and change. Racial justice is that which allows us to take action steps toward courageous conversations, going together as a class to the places that allow us to understand complex ideas of joy and pain, domination and progress without the gaze of those who have never explored these topics before. At Monday’s Continuing Conversation on Race and White Privilege, students from the Princeton High School 16-week Spring 2021 Racial Literacy & Justice class will share what they’ve learned.
