Support Stoutsburg Sourlands African American Museum’s Mission at their Annual Oxtail Fest – Celebrating African Diaspora Culinary Traditions!
The heritage of the African-American spirit is a triumph of perseverance and creativity, the blending of rich and varied traditions, and the will and necessity to survive. In the spirit of that tradition, we celebrate with a feast featuring the once lowly oxtail, now a highly prized delicacy with a tradition spanning the cuisines of North America and the English, French, and Spanish-speaking Caribbean.
Inclusivity is a must, so delicious and wholesome vegan and gluten-free options will be served. A special signature cocktail, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks will also be served.
