Artist Conversation: Joiri Minaya

Join the artist Joiri Minaya and Christina León, assistant professor of English at Princeton University, for a discussion of Minaya’s work, which is featured in the exhibition You Belong Here: Place, People, and Purpose in Latinx Photography at Art on Hulfish. Born in New York and raised in the Dominican Republic, Minaya destabilizes historic and contemporary representations of an imagined tropical identity through her multidisciplinary practice.
