The Mercer County Division of Mental Health’s Traumatic Loss Coalition and Children’s Interagency Coordinating Council will present a virtual workshop called “Barriers to Help Seeking in Communities of Color.”
The workshop will examine how the organization’s system partners can be better equipped to encourage communities of color to seek help. Kimme Carlos, who is the CEO and founder of Kimme Carlos Motivational Consulting LLC. will be the guest speaker. Carlos is a certified health and wellness coach, certified instructor for Mental Health First Aid, and author. She is also known for her staunch mental health advocacy and facilitates on mental and emotional wellness, dismantling racism, and the importance of self-care.
