Freedom To Learn Summer is an opportunity from Dr. Jacqueline Battalora & The Privilege Institute to hear from nationally renowned speakers/trainers about racial understanding that is foundational for the 21st Century in order to competently address the challenges of our time. Three presenters per day with evening processing groups. 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM & 7:00PM -8:30 PM
You are invited to create a watch party to gather in-person to listen/watch the virtual speakers each day (first 3 hours). The watch party helps create a community of shared knowledge, provides an opportunity to deepen relationships and for organizing locally for action. Each day the speakers are followed by a suggested 2-hour break during which the watch party host can share their work and invite participants to increase involvement in local efforts to advance racial justice and human rights. After the watch party, participants go to a quiet place for the processing session (each participant is provided a link and will be placed in a small group with experienced facilitators). One person registers as the host and will receive a unique code to share with their guests for registration. All attendees must register in order to have access to the event.
$30 Person or Host a Watch Party, $15/additional registration per person. Click here to register.
