The Coalition For Peace Action has decided to focus its annual Holiday Vigil for Peace on major surge in hate and bigotry, online and in real-life events. That surge has intensified this year and in recent months, with numerous major acts of violent hatred against LGBTQ, Jewish, African American, Asian, and other communities. from 3:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 17 at Tiger Park in the front of Palmer Square in Princeton (across from Nassau Presbyterian Church, located at 61 Nassau Street). It is called a Solidarity Vigil Against Hate and Bigotry.
It is imperative that all people of good will stand in solidarity to oppose any expression of hatred and bigotry, especially violent expressions. To help CFPA know how many posters to print and manage the event, they are asking that those planning to attend to RSVP via email to jnew@peacecoalition.org. Please let CFPA know how many will be in your party as well.
