The Price of Silence: The Forgotten Story of New Jersey’s Enslaved People–Making the Documentary

Truehart Productions, a nonprofit corporation formed in 2019, created a documentary to assist understanding the racial disparities that exist in our country during this critical time. The film reveals the prevalence of slavery during the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries and its lasting effects throughout New Jersey during the 20th century.
