Would you like to learn about a unique gardening method that has been used for centuries? On Saturday, August 10, there is a Three Sisters Gardening demonstration by Brooke McMinn, head gardener at Point Breeze, and Rob Flory, a farmer at St. Michaels Farm Preserve.
This method for growing corn, beans, and squash has a deep connection with the Lenape people. Get an up-close look at its benefits and learn why we planted a special corn called Puhwem in our garden. In the event of inclement weather, the demonstration will move inside.
To register for this event, email info@drgreenway.org or call 609-924-4646. While both events are free, a $10 donation is greatly appreciated and can be made here.
