The purpose of “The Birthing While Black Movement” is to bring light to the Reproductive History of Black people and the impact that Slavery, Racism and White Supremacy Systems have had on birthing outcomes in the Black community. This SOLUTION-BASED monthly series of workshops, documentaries, panel discussions and other activities is designed to focus on empowering change. The Movement will take place at the Conservatory Mansion here in Trenton as well as in other major cities simultaneously. Come out, bring a friend, spread the word and BE informed. Later workshops are taking place on April 21, 2-5 pm and May 12, 5-9 pm.
